Based on the memories of a group of lighthouse keepers in the Algarve, Portugal and their families, this film explores the most striking aspects of the lighthouse keeper’s job, an unknown but demanding profession that is extremely important for maritime navigation. A life of travelling, adventures and sacrifices for those who change homes, lighthouses and contexts every four years.
